SCHOLARLY WRITING
consulting & editing services
I have taught writing at universities, schools, and corporations for over a decade. I’ve seen philosophy PhDs tackle complex dissertation chapters and helped pre-med students raise their CARS scores.
Across all these settings, I continued to see a pattern: how people felt about writing—their intuition—determined the quality of their writing. The writer’s environment, materials and mindset were critical.
Intuition can’t be taught. It can, however, be developed. Most importantly, it requires vulnerability: a felt sense for what the text wants to say. In our sessions, I’ll help you clarify your argument, tighten syntax, and develop a sustainable writing practice.
